Early Life and Background
He was born in on 7 July 1973 in Mahalka a small village 25 km from Meeut to a father Pt. Mehar singh kher who was also an folk singer and also kailash's teacher in his earlier age.His other influence has been Pt.kumar gandharva. He studied in Jain Inter college Mahalka and he was very famous for his singing art. He grew up listening to his father rendering Indian folk songs all day and started learning classical music from the age of twelve.He was inspired by legendary Pakistani Sufi singer Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan
